Situated on enchanting Oualie Beach, this small beachfront hotel has 34 rooms in gingerbread- style cottages. A center for watersports on the island, Oualie offers guests a casual, stress-free ambiance and a genuinely friendly staff. 

Rooms, with mahogany four-poster beds, are a few paces from the beach. Each room has air conditioning, ceiling fan, direct-dial phone, cable TV, refrigerator, electronic safe, clock radio, hair drier, and a private-screened verandah that overlooks the beach and sunset. Studio rooms have full kitchens and dining areas. Oualie is very children-friendly and both cribs and a children's menu are available. The full-service restaurant serves three meals daily, a Caribbean buffet on Saturday nights, and a weekly manager's sunset cocktail party. There's live music every Tuesday and Saturday night, provided by the local string band, The Hummingbirds. Oualie's bar is a popular hang-out for locals, visitors, and sports enthusiasts, who come to Oualie for windsurfing, mountain biking, diving, fishing, scuba diving, and boat charters.
